Haiti Twin Parish

The Haiti Ministry provides service and aid to our twin parish in Croix Fer, Haiti - Saint Anthony of Padua.

Through the support and prayers offered by parishioners and our community, this ministry has replaced a small, thatched structure made of sticks with a solidly built, concrete, multi-use schoolhouse; added safe, electric stoves and burners to the kitchen and made it possible for families to have safe water for cooking, bathing, and drinking. 

St. Alphonsus Liguori is privileged to be able to make a direct impact on the daily lives of our brothers and sisters in this remote Haitian village. 

Ministry volunteers meet monthly to discuss ways to serve our twin parish through various programs, events and mission trips. All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to become involved!

• In solidarity we pray for our poor.  May we always respond to their call for justice with compassion and act in social conscience.
• In solidarity, we pray for our sister communities of St. Alphonsus Liguori and St. Anthony of Padua.  Through prayer, may we be joined through a spirit of faith in Christ. May the bond that we share extend to the lives of our families and communities.
