Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

• An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) must be a Confirmed Catholic in good standing with the Church, who is at least 16 years old and deputed by the priest.

• EMHCs can distribute Holy Communion during Mass, bring Holy Communion to the sick and the homebound, and/or give Viaticum to the dying.

• Once trained and deputed, service preferences are scheduled through Ministry Scheduler Pro, the system we use to schedule various liturgy activities.
