An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) must be a Confirmed Catholic in good standing with the Church, who is at least 16 years old and deputed by the priest.
EMHCs can distribute Holy Communion during Mass, bring Holy Communion to the sick and the homebound, and/or give Viaticum to the dying.
Once trained and deputed, service preferences are scheduled through Ministry Scheduler Pro, the system we use to schedule various liturgy activities.
If you are interested in becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, please contact Lauren Lawson (below) for more information and to schedule training.
