Catholic faith is not an “ism” or an ideology, or some rigid collection of rules and regulations. Rather it is a dynamic journey of adventure which is full of continual surprises.
Following Christ is an adventure full of surprises, challenges and joy. Just like the first disciples, we are called to step out in trust, experience growth and encounter God in unexpected ways.- 6:30: Opening / Music

In secular culture, people increasingly are unwilling to settle for simply getting by, but are in pursuit of optimal quality of life. We see this in the “foodie” and “wellness” movements. Yet at the same time, many Catholics are content with a humdrum spiritual life, expecting little and investing little. This talk challenges that and makes clear that all Christians are called to an abundant life of ever increasing development and fruitfulness and inspires the audience to take practical steps to pursue excellence.- 6:30: Welcome / Music

He has also authored a number of books, which includes: Exploring the Catholic Church, When the Church Was Young: Voices of the Early Fathers, and 40 Days, Forty Ways: A New Look at Lent. He also co-authored a book on Mel Gibson’s movie, The Guide to the Passion: 100 Questions on the Passion of the Christ.
Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosio (aka Dr. Italy) is a nationally known speaker, author, pilgrimage director and theologian. Founder of Crossroads Initiative website, Dr. Italy has published 200+ articles that have appeared in Our Sunday Visitor, The Tablet, Communio and other periodicals. He has appeared on Catholic networks such as Relevant Radio, EWTN, and the Sirius Catholic channel. He has hosted an EWTN series on the Early Church Fathers and have also served as an expert commentator on religious issues on national news, appearing twice on Geraldo Rivera At Large as well as on Bill O’Reilly’s radio show. Most recently he has done interviews on EWTN Nightly News for study series he has authored for Ascension Press.
His latest book Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life has been an incredibly popular component of the award-winning study series of the same name. The study includes a 10-part video series filmed in Holy Land, which he cohosted with Jeff Cavins. Most recently, he co-authored another best-selling study series, which was filmed on location in Rome: What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith.
Most importantly, Dr. Italy has been blessed with a wonderful wife of 39 years, Susan, and five amazing children who serve Christ with he and his wife in various kinds of ministry. Last but most importantly, He says "I am still a disciple of Jesus and he is still taking me new places. The encounter that started it all is still the most important thing of all. And the adventure continues to unfold!"
Dr. Italy will be our headline speaker all three nights of the Parish Revival!

The Hussey Brothers, Quinn and Sean, are singer-songwriters and worship leaders from Charleston, IL. Growing up as the youngest of five siblings, they developed a love for music early on, performing and pursuing it together. Their work reflects a blend of heartfelt storytelling and faith-driven inspiration aimed at encouraging listeners to embrace their own God-given purpose.
In 2019, the brothers released their debut album, Live for Home, with Papercastle Records in Nashville. Over the years, they have toured extensively across the U.S., sharing their music and engaging audiences through concerts, worship events, and their project called The Dad Life Tour. Their performances and songwriting seek to uplift and promote values of truth, goodness, and beauty in culture.
The Hussey Brothers will be providing praise and worship music for the revival.

Born and raised in Libertyville, IL outside of Chicago, Dan Nield went to Purdue University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. After college, Dan moved to Indianapolis for a job as a sales engineer. Soon after he met his wife Anna, and they now have three beautiful children ages 4, 2, and newborn.
Dan is the core team leader and emcee for our men’s ministry, That Man Is You. Passionate about his faith and always excited to share it with others, Dan can’t wait to be a part of this year’s revival!

Parishioner Speakers at the Revival
Daryl Knecht is a devoted Catholic who tries to keep the faith even when his golf game tests it. Happily married to his lovely wife Brenda for 33 years, a partnership that has somehow survived raising five kids and countless tee times. Family is his pride and joy. And while he’s never made a hole-in-one, he remains eternally optimistic—and fully convinced the next swing could be the one. 
Laura Shuler has been a parishioner of St. Alphonsus for 27 years. She is married to Shaun and they have 3 adult children, Shane, Shelby and Shanna. After 18 years as a stay at home mom, she returned to the workforce as a Worship Coordinator for St. Alphonsus in 2017 and is the current Religious Education Coordinator. She has been involved in many ministries at St. Alphonsus over the years and considers her "merciful" encounter with the Holy Spirit during a Christ Renews His Parish retreat in 2005 as life changing. You can find her on the St Alphonsus campus or at home mowing grass, planting flowers, pulling weeds, reading books or gathering eggs.
Clinton Bohm is the son of Deb Wickersham and Bill Bohm originally from Logansport Indiana. He is married to Anne (Easterday) and they have five boys (Ryan, Thomas, James, Mathias, and Andrew) ranging from teenagers to preschoolers where the all currently reside in Whitestown Indiana. He has been a member of St Als since entering the church during the Easter Vigil of 2009 prior to he and Anne's wedding. Clinton has been active in the community through his work in state government and holding elected office in Whitestown. He has also been involved in multiple parish ministries through the years from CRHP to TMIY. He is also a member in the fourth degree of the Knight of Columbus and 5 year veteran of middle school ministry.
Maddie Reyes is a senior at Zionsville and she has been a member of St. Alphonsus with her family for about 10 years. She loves spending time outdoors, playing soccer, and spending time with family and friends. Her Confirmation saint is St. Phillip Neri, the patron saint of joy! One of her favorite quotes of his is "First let a little love find entrance into their hearts, and the rest will follow." This fall Maddie will continue spreading joy at IU where she will be studying Elementary Education.
Sydney is a senior at Zionsville and has been a parishioner at St. Alphonsus since kindergarten. She loves playing tennis and is the captain of the girls varsity team. In her free time, Sydney enjoys volunteering and spending as much time with her family as possible. On Sunday nights you can find Sydney helping with her freshman small group at Life Teen and her Confirmation saint is St. Philomena.
